Google Earth allows you to make good flybyes sailing of the entire Earth. You can easily fly to any point on the planet, through the introduction of any associated data, such as addresses, place names or lat / long coordinates. There is overlap of the additional information to the map, such as roads, international borders, land, buildings in 3D, crime statistics, schools, stadiums, any number of interesting things. You can search premises in the program, with icons on the map and a display on the side showing your results.
You can leave notes, called "place marks" around the map, so you can remember where all sorts of places are. Records and place marks can be saved as bookmarks in "My Places". You can also email a JPEG of the route, or send a KMZ file if you know the recipient has installed the Earth.
